I tried so hard I really did ;_;
Anywho, this is the finished version of that WIP I posted like... two months ago. I posted a phone pic of it on Tumblr, but decided I would upload a scanned version on DA.

Anyway, it has his likeness, but like most/all of my portraits it doesn't look quite like him. Something is always wrong and I can never tell what it is. UGH IT DRIVES ME INSANE
Anyway, i love his hoodie and how his hair turned out. Favorite parts.

I'd say it looks quite a lot like him, the way you've done the features makes him quite recognizable!
I believe the problem here would be that it needs a bit more work on the proportions and structure, because you've got parts well drawn, but the placement and such are off here and there.
But nevertheless, it still looks good! Fabulous shading for sure!
Also props on that hair, you've handled it quite well!
