Some people probably don't want to do the geno run because of how much it punches you in the gut when it comes to feels, but not only does this route help expand your love of the characters - it also makes a good point about your own personal motivation to see the pain of others. I actually recommend people try this run so they can get the full immersion of the game, and a but of a moral point to boot.

The above being said there, the scene where Undyne saves Monster Kid has to be both my favorite and most hated part of the game. During the normal run, Monster Kid seems to be a nuisance to Undyne at worst and an overenthusiastic fan at best. But when you do the evil thing and try to kill him, the lengths to which she goes to save him are endearing and make me fall in love with her as a character.
She truly is the heroine of her story arc. If you hadn't come along, the entire fate of their world would've ridden on her shoulders.

And the coolest thing is she's actually strong enough to carry that weight.

Anywho, i planned on only doing this scene from the geno run, and how I see it playing out in my head. There should be 3 pages max
Also what the hell is perspective like this was so hard aaaaa
